Craigslist For Barter, 2015
The Extrapolation Factory challenged the students of SVA's Products of Design course to imagine a speculative prototype that could extend their thesis inquiry into the future. Each of these prototypes was developed as a physical artifact, and then posted to Craigslist Barters (with caveats that the products were merely prototypes). The reactions and interactions from the postings were collected as reactions and user research informing the students thesis projects.
